I deleted the AC app yester after receiving the update, and am just using Feedly to read their articles. Unfortunate really since it was in my top 5 most used applications for sure.

Re: seriously Android Central? Unfortunately not. Thing with one-time payments is just that: they're one time. Ads offer a recurring revenue stream. And I assume them offering subscription services would not work either, as I can't really see too many people paying a monthly or annual fee...

I agree that I've seen a major shift since Phil's departure, but I also feel like the shift has alienated a part of their core user base. Or at least in my opinion, the change is a negative one. Even the podcasts have lost any sense of regularity, both in terms of timing and in terms of quality...

You're in a situation which I believe most long time users experience when they switch. You're missing your old features, and have no need for the new ones (yet) because you've never used them before so haven't developed a dependency yet. I think you'll appreciate the switch a lot as you grow...

I think the stock keyboard works really well on the 6P. There's also the swipe function which is great. That said, if stock doesn't cut it for you, and you prefer tap typing, I recommend getting Fleksy. They made the app free now, and I think for tap typing you just can't do better than Fleksy.

I guess I'll just return the phone and hope for a better replacement. If the second one isn't fine, I might just get a refund and get one from a carrier store.
