    Frickng adverts on ac app

I deleted the AC app yester after receiving the update, and am just using Feedly to read their articles. Unfortunate really since it was in my top 5 most used applications for sure.

    Frickng adverts on ac app

Re: seriously Android Central? Unfortunately not. Thing with one-time payments is just that: they're one time. Ads offer a recurring revenue stream. And I assume them offering subscription services would not work either, as I can't really see too many people paying a monthly or annual fee...

Maybe a bit more transparency about the podcast?

I've always enjoyed the AC podcast. It's genuinely one of my favourites. However, ever since Phil left, there has been a quite evident drop in quality. I mean this all around - the podcast content is worse put together, and the lack of any regulars from episode to episode is a little...

    Nexus 6P keeps rebooting randomly

I closed all my open apps and cleared my cache, and no reboots anymore. Hopefully it was just a buggy application. Thanks for the help though.

    Nexus 6P keeps rebooting randomly

Hey guys, so I switched my Nexus 6P because the headphone jack stopped working, and I got a refurbished model in return. The phone was working perfectly for the first couple of weeks, but ever since the last couple of days it's been randomly rebooting every now and then. Before this it has...

Serious Lack of App Coverage Recently?

I agree that I've seen a major shift since Phil's departure, but I also feel like the shift has alienated a part of their core user base. Or at least in my opinion, the change is a negative one. Even the podcasts have lost any sense of regularity, both in terms of timing and in terms of quality...

Serious Lack of App Coverage Recently?

I understand that, and it isn't that AC is bad at covering applications suddenly. I just feel that the focus is very much off them, and I simply wonder why that is. There also used to be a weekly app pick by the editors and unless I'm mistaken that is no longer published. Just curious about this...

Serious Lack of App Coverage Recently?

When I started frequenting AC a few years ago (2013 if I recall correctly), one of the things that got me hooked was the ability to discover new applications from articles here. I feel like the website has stopped covering articles as much recently. I really enjoyed reading about Best...

    Who's switching from iPhone 6 /6s/plus to s7 edge

Re: What are your thoughts on iPhones Why not? Have you used the Nexus 6P? It's a fantastic device that works around most of the issues you've highlighted about Android. And in my opinion, it has an equally good if not superior camera, and the front facing speakers just blow any other phone...

Windows Phone user switched to Android... deciding whether to stay

You're in a situation which I believe most long time users experience when they switch. You're missing your old features, and have no need for the new ones (yet) because you've never used them before so haven't developed a dependency yet. I think you'll appreciate the switch a lot as you grow...

Unlock from carrier? Bell Nexus 6P

Hahaha This made me laugh. You don't really believe you will get a $700 phone on contract for $150, pay $50 to unlock it and never have to pay the rest of the phone's price, do you? Posted via the Android Central App

Opinions on Nexus 6p Keyboard compared to Nexus 6

I think the stock keyboard works really well on the 6P. There's also the swipe function which is great. That said, if stock doesn't cut it for you, and you prefer tap typing, I recommend getting Fleksy. They made the app free now, and I think for tap typing you just can't do better than Fleksy.

    Nexus 6P Screen Issue

I guess I'll just return the phone and hope for a better replacement. If the second one isn't fine, I might just get a refund and get one from a carrier store.
