Android Auto Wireless now with Pie?

I believe you need an AA wireless compatible head unit. I don't think it has much to do with the phone or AA itself.

    I'm currently downloading on Sprint.

    Pie Beta

One thing I've seen as a being a big deal with Pie is Adaptive Battery. It's not labeled as such on One UI... is it named something else, or is it just baked in automatically?

Sprint rolling out Oreo to LG G6

This is the same issue I had. I did a factory reset, then a Google backup, and it went away. I let the bloatware install, left it a couple days, then deleted it all, with no ill effects.

Sprint rolling out Oreo to LG G6

I had an issue pop up yesterday... the phone kept trying, and failing, to install SOMETHING. I think it was one of the several apps that Sprint decided we "need" with Oreo (AAA, Audible, a slew of Sprint nonsense, 3 Uber apps, and maybe others). Couldn't get it to stop, so I ended up doing a...

Sprint rolling out Oreo to LG G6

Just had a bunch of unwanted apps and bloatware install on my phone. AAA, Tidal, 3 Uber apps, and a bunch of Sprint-centric stuff. Yay. :/

Sprint rolling out Oreo to LG G6

Updated mine overnight. Not a huge difference overall (IMO), but it does seem smoother. Facial recognition seems much better, and actually unlocks my phone very quickly (take THAT iPhone X!). Thankfully, the one app I use daily, Android Auto, still works, and seems to work better than on 7.0. I...

    LG G6 text messages help!!!

That would work when his screen is on/ awake, but I believe he wants notifications when his screen is locked/ asleep. AFAIK, this isn't a thing Android does natively, and needs 3rd party apps to attain.

    LG G6 text messages help!!!

This was an issue for me when I switched from Apple to Android. Only solution I found was to use Floatify along with Nova Prime Launcher (and Teslaunread for notification bubbles on each app). You may be able to use Floatify by itself, but I'm not sure.

    Moister detected

Mine started doing this after the most recent Sprint security update. May have been a coincidence. Either way, I tried cleaning out the port with compressed air, a toothbrush, and finally some contact cleaner (with the phone turned off). One or all of those did the trick.

    Sprint LS993, security update

It was just a security patch. No noticeable differences on anything.

    Sprint LS993, security update

Now on September 1 security patch. Not sure what it brought, but it's something!

Why notification bubble does not show for an app.

Agreed 100%. Coming from an iPhone, I found the lack of unread notifications, as well as the lack of screen-waking notifications, to nearly be a deal breaker. Nova Prime, Teslaunread, and Floatify have brought all of that functionality to my phone, and I couldn't be happier!

Has anybody tried to utilize Android Auto app w/ LG G6?

Not sure I've ever tried this. What prompts come up?
