Android Auto Wireless now with Pie?

I've been waiting for PIE to be able to run AA Wireless with my S9+.

Currently I've been running AA Wired.

Does anyone know what I need to do (instructions) to get it to work with Wireless (and Wired for when I need charging)?

I believe you need an AA wireless compatible head unit. I don't think it has much to do with the phone or AA itself.

My unit does support AA Wireless. Unfortunately, Google has still locked it out on non-Google phones it seems, as I upgraded to Pie hoping to use wireless... but no go yet.

This is not what I wanted to hear. I got pie on my moto x4 in December and it didn't work with wireless android auto. I assumed it was something moto did but if flagship samsungs still don't work...ugh...
