Re: Will not display incoming caller name despite being in my contacts. As someone suggested...this was indeed caused my by 'telco'. After a lot of disussion they 'reset' my account and it all worked! Lots of hours wasted but quite a bit learnt. Thank you.

Re: Will not display incoming caller name despite being in my contacts. Well everthing seems to be mapped to he correct field....i.e....the cell number is in the field called "Mobile phone". So now what???

After much heartache I eventually got my contacts from my old dumb Nokkia into the S5....they seem to appear as Google contacts. Now...any incoming call...from any of my contacts...it says 'unknown'. I have played with the app's Merge+ and Contacts+....nope....just will not show the contact name...

How odd...it seems that Profile Manager setings seem to be overriden by the sound that is set in Settings>Sound>ringtone. i.e.I select the 'normal' profile on Profile Manager...and it does show the little 'house' icon on the top bar...but whatever I set in there for ringtone is not implemented...

Just trying Profile Manager....seems to do it. Thank you

Just got the S5...after really wondering if I want to spend that amount of money! First problem seems to be no 'profiles'. You know what I mean...on the simplest phone you can select, meeting, silent, work, home, sleep. Surely there must be a way to do this...or an app.
