Try turning off your Evo and restarting it. That worked for me.

You need to call sprint and request the MSL number. When I called, I told them about the problem and that I needed the MSL # to fix it. they gave it to me right away. Once you have the number, the password that your phone is asking for is that MSL #.

did you buy the SD card online? If so, you could have got a fake card that just died.

Yesterday my wife called me and I was unable to answer the call. When I tried to slide down the slider, it did not move. I had to wait for her called to be missed and then called her back. It was the only time this has happened.

Instinct for me.....I was able to sell the instinct on Craigslist for $100 and just got the EVO for 149.99 (after price match today at Best Buy for Radio shack sale). So $50 after sale of instinct and price match!! Couldn't be happier!

I just got back from Best Buy, and sure enough, they price matched it at $149.99. They never called to verify. I did show up with the website printout of the sale, but they didn't even look at it. Thanks for starting this thread, it saved me $50.00 on an already great phone.

Was there anything you had to take to get them to price match? is there a Radio Shack add?
