Why do I still only have the security patch 1/DEC/2018 on my UK version Huawei P20 Pro?

I got the May update two nights ago in Canada so it is rolling out. Sorry to hear about the OP's delays.

Tap the photo and tap edit. The built-in editor has options to adjust shadows and highlights amogst others. I had a Lumia 950 too. While windows did a lot of things better and more smoothly I find that I don't have to edit photos on the P20pro as often as the Lumia.

The Mate 20 Pro has a different processor and the software is built around that.

shared outlook calendar won't appear on Huawei 20 Pro

Nine is an excellent email client and will sync all of your calendars better than the OEM calendar app. But it's not as clean looking as the OEM app. In outlook.com you have to add the shared calendar via Discover Calendars at the bottom of the left hand pane but I don't think the free version...

Right, so I don't think posting and using SOT benchmarks are as significant for battery use anymore. But back to the OP seems like we are in the same ballpark for battery consumption.

like I said though must of the power consumption was reported as software not hardware. Not sure SOT is as goos as an indicator as was in the past.

shared outlook calendar won't appear on Huawei 20 Pro

Sounds like you are using the oem Huawei calendar app? If so it is very basic and doesn't have a lot of settings/options (I think they are trying to mimic Apple by just providing the basics). I had the same issue with my Internet Calendars. Once I added them to my outlook account through OWA...

Just checking my SOT: 2h13m from 100% to 60%. But my hardware has consumed 39% with software the remaining 61% of the battery consumption.

Goto Settings>Battery>Consumption and it will show you the hardware and software that is drawing on your battery. Then go into Battery Optimization and see if any of the highest battery drainer are turned off.

What's SOT? I would just go back to where I bought it and exchange it for another one.

Single Sim. I'm using the SquareHome launcher too that gives me live tiles and updated badge counts so that is a bit more of a battery draw than stock or static launcher. Most P20 Pro reviews cite about 2 days for the battery which is consistent with my experience. The service centre is giving...

Huawei P20 Pro (CLT-L09) battery drain

OK so to recap, my experience for a typical day with moderate use is 100% at 545am and then about 64% at 1030pm. Today for example was a bit lighter use and at 9pm I'm at 74%. I can easily get two full days with moderate use, maybe even a 3rd day with lighter use when it switches to battery saver.

Yes off charger at 545am. But you said you go from 100% in the morning to 20% at night. That's not similar at all.

From 545am to 1030pm moderate use throughout I am left with about 64-66%. Really heavy use including an hour or two of photo editing gets me at about 45-50%.
