There are some apps that have been discontinued. For instance, the app we use to remotely view our security cameras is no longer in the Google Play store. We prefer it because it's ad-free and the images don't travel through 3rd party servers. I'd like to move it from an old phone to a new one...

Yes! And typing is temperamental. Several times on this very forum, I was trying to get info about another device, but text kept resetting. Cursor jumps. Etc. Sad, but my VM LG Opt Slider is performing gingerbread better than my Acer ICS. Having to reset seems a pain, but... :-!

Anyone know how to take a screen capture (screen shot?) With a VM LG701 (LG Optimus Slider)? I've tried pressing power & volume keys and back, menu, & home keys with no luck. This phone is not rooted. I'm not that far advanced yet. Getting there, tho.
