How to take a screen capture with LG Optimus Slider

Anyone know how to take a screen capture (screen shot?) With a VM LG701 (LG Optimus Slider)?

I've tried pressing power & volume keys and back, menu, & home keys with no luck.

This phone is not rooted. I'm not that far advanced yet. Getting there, tho.
