I figured out the standby lock pattern issue. I thought that it would automatically initiate the lock pattern when coming back from standby like the Coby MID7015A tablet that I just purchased a few weeks ago. I went in and changed the "Security Lock Timer" to a lower number. Thanks!

Just got the X! Activated it and started setting up some of the user settings. Next step will be to root, back up and get rid of all this bloatware. :) For some reason the pattern lock does not initiate when coming from standby. It only kicks in when I fully turn off the phone and then back on...
