i must say I didn't really encounter any trouble with 7.0, however, this is making me quite insane, not being able to hear what's happening. I suppose I will look out for the next HTC, otherwise I'm probably turning my eyes to anything that's not Samsung.

I've tweeted to HTCHelp, hoping they will at least forward the issue to someone that can change it. or is it a play to makes us get newer phones? jokes aside. any other suggestions?

I'm having this issue as well, I guess it feels a little comforting that I'm not alone in this. I've contacted HTC support, hoping for a solution.

Hello folks! I'm using an HTC 10, and I just recently got the oreo update to Android. My problem is that, I can't select app specific notification sounds for apps like messages (HTC default) and Google Calendar. If I open my calendar to change notification sounds, it also changes my messages...
