Good thing Cyanogenmod will continue to be built for the Evo. The product may be EOL'd from Sprint/HTC, but the Evo will still get AOSP source updates to CM7 (and presumably future iterations of CM as well--although of course, this is banking on the developer community to build future versions...

You can get very close to sense with 3rd party widgets and launchers. You cannot get sense on a non-htc phone period.

For #1, I suggest double-checking your groups. Sounds to me not all your groups are being synced--try moving your contacts into the same group that the 9 synced ones are.

It's going to be 2.3.3. I have CM7 running on other phones and I'm dying to get Voice and Video GTalk on the atrix. Too bad Moto/AT&T can't release an up-to-date version with their release cycles.

If you spent the effort to use the sideload wonder machine, you can also spend roughly the same effort to root and enable side-loading. It's pretty trivial now.

You can also grab the lapdock/webtop hack too after you root. I'm quite fond of the webtop hack. I don't see the need for the entertainment center as you can browse the same content from the webtop UI. AIW is really cool too.=)

If you take a look at the list of OFFICIAL supported devices for Netflix, you don't see a device with either tegra 2 or with a qHD display. Both of those are pretty good reasons why the UNOFFICIAL app doesn't work well on the Atrix. =) Isn't the NFS the demo version? Can't you get that from...

Hi everyone, I didn't think much of Gingerblur when I first saw it. I thought "psuedo-ROM? who needs it?" I would run the script to deodex, uninstall apps, blah blah... Then after updating to 8.3 I found that this p-rom did all that for me. /shrug. What can I say, I'm lazy? Anyway...

1.27? Did you mean 26? You can just flash SBF to .8.3. I noticed Gingerblur 4.0 came out. You can flash the upgrade from 3.5 to 4.0 and see if the functionality you're looking for works. If that fails, then you can flash SBF to 8.3, root, flash tenfars recovery, then flash Gingerblur 4.0...
