I’m coming from an Apple Watch, my only smartwatch experience so far. Still waiting for my Note 9 to get my Galaxy Watch, what are the limitations of Apple Watch as opposed to Galaxy Watch?

Yea, I don’t really care about the lack of MST, never had it before but that isn’t a reason to pick the new model. I’m not seeing the S3 anywhere for less than $299 unless it’s used but I will keep an eye out. Thanks for the reply!

Anybody ever use the Gear line (now Galaxy I suppose..) and also a gear fit (or any tracker I suppose)? Meaning, if I wear the fit to work and then the Galaxy watch after work would they both sync to S health to give me a picture of my day?

Definitely appreciate the suggestion. I wish the Gear sport didn’t have a mic, but I believe it does. It is missing the speaker. You can still talk to google assistant right?

Not sure if this is the right spot for this but my Note 9 will be here by the end of the month. Came from the iPhone and am a big Apple Watch fan. The galaxy watch seems to be the most similar option, however I cannot being my phone in to work, and if my watch has a microphone I can’t bring that...

Any options without a microphone besides Garmin and Fitbit that anybody can recommend?

This is true for me at least.. and I actually take the time to look into this stuff and it is still confusing, I think it does more than I was able/willing to utilize.

Not sure if you mean that they do not have a phone number but they use their email for iMessage.. I think nearly any other messaging app (whatsapp, skype, etc..) will allow messages to an email and/or username without the need for a phone number.

Some of that is partially the reason for me trying this.. I really have little to no complaints about Apple overall, I do believe they provide a great product. However, I do also see the strengths on the Android side that I am missing out on. I also see our family becoming more and more stuck...

I was going to look into that, she has facebook and therefore facebook messenger. I do not have a facebook account but I believe I can still use messenger without it, I will look into that one, thanks!
