Think of all the people migrating from dumb phones to <$100 smartphones. They may not have a premium data plan, or any data plan at all. But they still want maps (complete U.S. maps take a few GB), music, etc.

The Moto G is too big/expensive to be a "spare"! Would be great if they made a cheap 4" version like the Nokia 520. That's the perfect low end smartphone, except that it's running the wrong OS.
