Fleet, Turning off imessage does seem to be the key. I had sold my iphone and my wife was using the same Apple id that I was. So instead I unregistered my old iPhone and changed the password on the Apple id and then my messaging problem was fixed. I am not sure exactly which one did the trick...

Jesse, you nailed it. The problem was not my phone but rather imessage on tge other phones. They turned off imessage and everything is cool now. So I guess now I have to add Please turn off imessage before responding to group Before every group message I send. Imessage is all bad. Sent...

Texas, thank you. I just tried that and am having the same issue. My wife received the group text on her iphone and responded to the group. I did not get the response. Is there another setting that I'm missing?

That is wonderful. Can you support that claim with a screenshot showing a group messaging thread that you sent/received/sent? If so, would you mind sharing how yours is set up correctly?

Thank you. I do have that setting on. It allows me to send a group message. The problem is that I do not receive any replies at all when Group Messaging is checked.
