Rather than waiting for my Pixel 6 Jan update I reverted to my Pixel 5A. My 5A is not updating to Jan update either. This is strange due to my normal update is on 5th on month. Yes, I could flash it but if Google isn't pushing it out I'm wary. So, still on Dec update with my 5a. No issues currently.

my pixel 5 bricked, 4a is almost the same size but seems smaller. No complaints regarding the Pixel 4a. Nice phone.

IMO: Waiting for Pixel 2 furor to subside. X4 looks like it might be a flagship killer. With specific areas under-powered but overall fluid experience. Proof will be in the pudding..as they say. I am waiting for reviews also.

Google has apparently adopted Apples vision: Control the hardware along with the software. Benefits include QC, focused support with limited variants. Being "beta" means we are currently lab animals. With a compelling economic model; Stomping out the bugs is high priority. IMO: We will see...

Got my sim. Within ~24hrs up and running. Had problems with coverage up near the finger lakes in NY state but in NJ mid-state runs well. Welcome kit? What welcome kit? Just got a sim....

Google threw L 5.0 out the door half-baked. Sony did a great job and it's Z3 Compact runs well with L5.02 [currently]. L5.1 is due next month, don't know what that will bring. I agree, it's a great phone.
