when I open Chrome in Marshmallow on Moto E 2104, it always loads myaccount.google.com.

I'm using Moto E 2015 with Marshmallow. All the answers I find online refer to settings I don't have in the Chrome menu under Settings.

    New Google Feature

Fred: If you long-press an empty space on your home page, you'll see three choices appear at the bottom of the screen: Wallpapers, Widgets, and Settings. Touch Settings and the next menu you see should have either a Feed toggle at the top or a list of menu options. If the former, toggle Feed...

    Uninstall Google Now permanently?

Got it. If you hold your finger on the home page until the Widgets etc. choices appear at the bottom of the screen, one of the choices there is Settings. If you choose THAT Settings menu, the first screen that pops up has the Feed toggle at the top. If it doesn't, and a list of options appears...

    Uninstall Google Now permanently?

No help. I've gotten rid of it several times; I just don't remember how. There's no Feed Toggle anywhere in Google>Settings>My Feed. All the solutions I find on the Net refer to this non-existent toggle.

    Uninstall Google Now permanently?

Every once in a while, for reasons I don't understand, Google Now pops back onto my Android Moto E and starts screwing around with my home screen and other things. I'd like to turn it off and eliminate it entirely. Anyone know how? Old Wisewiz

Android System WebView: Installing for over 40 minutes

Tnx, Rog, It's a pre-installed Android app, and there's no Uninstall option, but when I found that I couldn't force the Updating to stop, I powered off, booted, and found that in Play Store/My Apps this app was showing with an Update button, and when I went through that procedure, it downloaded...

Android System WebView: Installing for over 40 minutes

When I started my phone this morning, there was a notification that an update for Android System WebView was downloading. It took about ten minutes for the download to complete, and now, after about 45 minutes, it's still *installing*. I've never seen this behavior before. Anyone know what's...

Where's the Delete (my post) Button?

Thanks it was just a matter of posting before I added the relevant quote. Thought I'd just delete the quote-less version and let the quote-included version stand. No problem, really.

Where's the Delete (my post) Button?

I feel foolish asking this, but ... I can't find the way to delete a post of mine when replacing it completely with a new post would be better than just editing it. The "Edit/Delete" button gives me an editing screen, but I don't see any way to dump the post. There must be an "instructions for...

What is the stock app called Preset?

Big possibility that hadn't even occurred to me. I have so much to learn about this, my very first smartphone. After seeing all the Motorola, Android, and Google stuff in the All Apps list, I thought the only thing TELUS had done was provide the SIM card and lock the phone for TELUS. I will...

Just curious. Can't find anything relevant on the Net. It has a Disable button, though.

No Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Moto E 2015?

Re: No Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Moto E 2015?! Yeah, I saw that, too in the marshmallow schedule: 2015 Moto E with 4G LTE in Latin America, Canada, Europe and Asia2 (2nd Gen) [Motorola - Marshmallow site] But there's no indication on the site about scheduling. Could be far, far away.
