AC Question

I've recently bought an Xperia XZ, and I've a little problem with the google app. As you may know there's the google now feed with all those cards.

But I want to disable it as the cards are never relevant to what I want, and feel like an invasion of privacy.

According to Google's own support site the cards can be disabled by going into the google app's setting, then "my feed" and toggling the off switch.

The thing is the button doesn't show up on the page. I only have the options: "Manage card history" "Reset feed preferences?" And "Notifications" section.

Does this have anything to do with me enabling Google Assistant, if so is there a way to keep Assistant while removing the cards ?

Welcome to the forums. To your last question, no, its not Assistant its Google Now. You can turn Now, and the cards, off from the cards page. Can't remember exactly as its been awhile since I tried it. But the disable is there.
