    Some apps use WiFi for location accuracy and will scan even when it is off, my N5 from Sprint you can turn it off by clicking the Scanning settings link under the WiFi On /Off toggle. Hope this helps.

    I have the Sprint version for MM and have no issues with calls coming in and then music coming back on after the call ends.
