Looks like my 16 gb sandisk class 2 just became toast. There was one other time where the SD card unexpectedly dismounted (no jars to the phone or anything) and it came back ok on reboot. This time, I didn't have the same luck, and when I popped it into my computer, the card needed formatting. :(

Just for clarification here; why are you concerned about 3d mp-count? Granted, you're technically right about the specs, but it's not like you're going to be printing 3d pictures... Your real question, then, is just: is there a noticeable difference between the 5mp camera and the 8 mp...

You know what's the best feature for the 3vo's camera? The dedicated shutter button. No more trying to juggle the camera with one hand while you touch the screen to with the other, or having to do crazy yoga finger stretches to reach the screen while actually keeping the phone steady, holding...

Something new with sense 3.0 I found was you can multi-touch and scroll the opposite direction as normal to quickly (incredibly quickly) navigate the photo albums. You'll see a date created note as you blur past your photos. Not exactly what you're looking for, but decent work around.
