Go into wifi settings and forget the network (long press on the network name). Reconnect and you should find the wifi is stable now :) Worked for me (and a few others).

I'm no expert but I think there is an app in preware that completely removes Android. Don't know what it's called though unfortunately.

CM9 is much better than Xron IMO. ICS is way ahead of Gingerbread and CM9 is surprisingly usable considering it's the first Alpha release. There's still a few bugs but nothing too bad. All the things that I use it for work fine (Wifi, Browsing, Market Place, Games). I can't see many people...

A re-install would be a good place to start IMO. Strangely enough when I reinstalled CM9 on top of CM7 earlier today I didn't get the start up wizard. Just went straight to the main home screen whereas on previous installs the setup wizard would always kick in. Never had any problems with it...

So far...so good. Renistalled CM7 then wacked CM9 straight over the top. Been running for about ten minutes now with no issues. Really should have tried this before starting a new thread. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction :)

If it makes any difference, on the 1st re-install I also installed the update-charger_systemui_fix-alpha0.zip file. Didn't do it on the 2nd attempt to see if it was anything to do with it but apparently not.

Ignore this request. I did a fresh install and installed the standard gapps_ics_4.0.3_v8.zip It's clever enough to know I'm in the UK. Marketplace apps prices all showing in sterling :)

I am currently using the same UK version of the GAPPS file in CM9 as I was in CM7 (gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip). Market place works ok but email app doesn't and I'm probably missing out on some other ICS specific stuff. Does anyone know where I can find a UK compatible ICS GAPPS file? Does...
