android is is using way too much data.

I appreciate the help. Thank you. I usually wipe the cache partition once a week, and its been done multiple times since android OS has been using so much data. I also clear my browser history and clear cached data everyday when I restart my phone. Here is the list of my app usage. My billing...

android is is using way too much data.

I have unlimited data through my carrier, but it always seems to slow down towards the end of the month. In the first 4 days of the month android os has already used 3.4 GB. I have the back up my data turned off. If I restrict my background data some of my apps don't work. Posted via the...

android is is using way too much data.

I'm not that technologically inclined. Does anyone know how to stop android os from using so much background data? I'm on a nexus 5 and it's using way more data than anything on my phone. Posted via the Android Central App

The Nexus 5 Android 5.1 Lollipop Thread

Since the most recent update I have Android OS using 6 gigabytes in the first 2 weeks of my month. Before there wasn't an Android OS using any gigabytes. Can anybody tell me why and what this is? I'm far from tech savvy. Posted via the Android Central App

    nexus 5

Thanks everyone. I have tried other keyboards it does the same thing. The only thing I'm worried about losing is my photos as far as a reset goes. I've looked at a lot of the back up apps. Seems I can find comments from people that have a problem restoring photos. Don't really want to take that...

    nexus 5

I'm technologically illiterate. Since I got lollipop a while back my keyboard has not worked correctly. Plus scrolling on my phone is not smooth. I wiped the cache partition. I never had a problem before. I've even already had the newest update and bug fix. I don't have a clue what to do, I type...

    Lollipop fixes

Yes I cleared the cache a few times since the update. It doesn't seem to help. Those are my 2 biggest problems. The rest is ok, but I'm sick of typing and then re reading and fixing every couple words. Posted via the Android Central App

    Lollipop fixes

Does anybody have an idea when Lollipop fixes might come out? My Nexus 5 scrolls terribly and the keyboard misses letters all the time since I installed Lollipop. Wish I would've never installed it. Posted via the Android Central App

    ADB update

I'm very technologically inept. When I go to recovery mode on my Nexus 5, one of the options says, "apply update from ADB". Can anyone tell me what this means? How do I know if I should update it? Thank you Posted via the Android Central App

    Zoom

Why is there no zoom on the Nexus 5 camera? Does anyone know if they are going to add the feature in the future? Posted via Android Central App

    web pages slow to load

Yes I'm using mobile data. It occurs on different websites and when its doing it my apps won't load either. Yesterday alone just going from page to page it said you are offline probably 20 times. The website I use most is date hook up forums. Posted via Android Central App

    web pages slow to load

Thank you this is my 3rd device and is only 1 week old. Both replacement phones have done the same thing. I'm not sure that there is any cache build up. I'm not very technologically smart. T Mobile says they haven't had any bad reception. They haven't heard of this problem. I just know it...

    web pages slow to load

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? For the first few months everything was fine. Now a 30+ times a day pages load very slow or get stuck and I have to go to settings and turn off data then turn back on or turn phone off and back on. I've replaced my phone twice and sim card twice and its...
