I've always wanted to try the Note but I'm gonna wait for the next release for both series before I upgrade again. I love my 8+ and I'm not wasting an upgrade this time.

The custom feature for text tones was an Oreo update issue. My S8 Plus lost it too when it updated to Oreo. I called Samsung when I got my s9 and they said they'd put in a ticket but who knows how long that will take to get enough complaints to patch it. Also, use a third party app and it...

The custom text tomes was lost on my S9+ too so when I returned it and kept my S8+ I figured it would be there but the Oreo update took the feature away. You have to use a 3rd party app to customize text tones now.

Mine is doing the same thing. I've disabled every notification vibration or sound from everything except major services like gmail and texts. It does it even if I'm morning it. So annoying.

My contacts won't sync either. Everything else will but contacts will not. I've tuned off syncing and turned it back in with no luck
