Settings > Apps > Downloaded it could be because I have 2 accounts on my G Pad. i just uninstalled Avast on both of them and it went away. but a few apps still say "Not installed" still. maybe i need to uninstall them on my 2nd account, or they are sitting in the download folder or something.

also, does clearing the "Cached data" in Settings > Storage perform the same task as wiping cache partition? isn't wiping the cache partition basically doing the same? on my G Pad, I could just clear cached data for all apps... would that be doing the same as what's been suggested with wiping...
