    Problem adding to music folder

This morning I found that I can use fx two ways. The Home menu shows a Music/Audio icon, which is where the album cannot be copied. If instead I go to Main Storage/Music I can put the album where I want. I think I was doing it wrong. It still would be nice if I could see all the subdirectories...

    Problem adding to music folder

My 2013 Nexus 7 is stock, running Android 6.0.1 I want to add music files to the device. When connected via USB to my PC, the Music folder appears empty. On the Nexus side, using fx, I can see all of my music files fine. They play with no problems. I can put a new folder in Music via PC by...

New update for Nexus 7--in Spanish?

Sorry for the double post--please see other thread. I have a Nexus 7 2013 running Android 6.0.1. I just received an update. The download list says: System update downloaded Actualizacion del sistema Android Is this a legit update? Why is it in Spanish (I'm an English speaker). It has always...

Trying to charge my Nexus 7 (2nd Gen) faster

Get a higher power charger, such as these: Wall Chargers,Plug-in Chargers,Power|ANKER My Nexus 7 charges noticeably faster with the Anker 18W charger than on the one that came with the Nexus. No numbers, sorry. Steve

Battery life seems much poorer under 5.0.1

Check where the juice went on battery status. Maybe it is some app misbehaving under 5.0.2.

Why isn't my Nexus 7 2013 able to find any available wifi networks?

Re: Nexus 7 2013 wifi not finding any available networks You left one big case off the list--those of us who have updated and have zero problems. I bet this is a far larger group of people. 2013 Nexus7 running 5.02 I really don't see how 5.0x can be blamed alone; it must be a combination of...

How to Calibrate Screen after replacing charging board?

I don't know anything about the board, I'm speaking from general experience. Take another look at your work, using a magnifier and patience. Make sure there isn't some error or bad connection.

Is there an email app that delivers directly to me without needing a stock email app?

I switched from gmail to Proton: https://protonmail.ch/ It works on tablets, but all I've used it on is a pc. It has lots of promise, but the email interface is bare-bones right now. I really like their attitudes though.

Battery life seems much poorer under 5.0.1

All I did was the ota install, did not wipe the cache, no problems. On the other hand, I only use it for a few specific things, and none of those are games. Kindle, PlayerPro music, Firefox

Battery life seems much poorer under 5.0.1

As I commented, there are people including myself who are not having battery problems, in this very thread. Don't ignore data to support your favorite theory.

Battery life seems much poorer under 5.0.1

My battery life seems about the same (2013, 32G). No actual measurement as I've never had a problem. We have people on both sides of this question--doesn't that mean the problem more likely lies with an app?

    Two irritations in Lollipop

That looks pretty reasonable for turning wifi on and off. Thanks! These are my only complaints about Lollipop, otherwise it works fine (2013/32G).

    Two irritations in Lollipop

OK, I didn't know about that (yes, mine does it now that I know). It still doesn't help as far as I can see--you can turn on WiFi, but your tablet is still locked.

    Two irritations in Lollipop

I used to be able to either unlock my Nexus or start WiFi with a single page change. Now it takes two. Hit the power button with the device sleeping and what used to appear was the login screen. Now what shows up is notifications (of which I have none). Then you swipe again to get the login...

why only a 7 watt charger?

So go buy a bigger charger, they're cheap: Anker 20W Dual-Port USB Wall Charger with PowerIQ™ Technology Maybe Nexus 7 really means 7W charger. I too do not see the point of this thread. Steve
