I have the same problem as the original post. It is the badge counter for me. It says 1 but when I go to messager it doesn't show any new information.

Why did they change how your phone unlocks in the last update? Now if I hit a button while it's in my pocket it fully unlocks and I end up with a bunch of apps open that I basically butt dialed. It used to be that you had to press a button then swipe the screen to open the phone.

It used to be that when you mute a group message, it would just stop sound notifications but would still show a red badge number looking at the messages button on my home screen.... now I don't know if I'm missing messages until the next time I open my messages.

Samsung keyboard (English). That long-press is not an option for me. Are there different and more customizable keyboards?

Well, there should be a way. Because it even suggests phrases that I misspelled once.

It does not appear if it is multiple words on one box. For example, I just had the word suggestion "to be" after I typed 'It does not appear' ^ in this comment and the delete option doesn't pop up after holding on it.

Now you can delete a word you don't want in your predictive text, but can you delete word combinations you don't want anymore? I find my phone guessing sentences that I used a year ago that make zero sense now and I'd like to remove them.
