This app does not seem to do anything useful. I have widgets I need to transfer to a replacement phone. I find one. I select it. I send it. On the new phone I receive it. ONLY thing that happens is that the app turns off the wifi on the receiving phone, and nothing gets transferred.

Our 2 new Verizon S8+'s work well. On home wifi near the AC router, mine showed better then 200 MPBS - same download speed as my tower PC could handle. Of course I also use 'public' wifi. At work, we have 'att guest' that works pretty well; once per day you have to use Firefox to accept terms...

I'll try App Cache Cleaner later and see if the Settings problem comes back, but I think this is more related to the update.

Fixed the settings broken problem I had! Fantastic! Now I can do the software update on my wife's S8+ also and if the Settings problem hits I know what to do. Now, if only I could figure out a fix for the GMAIL inbox count having disappeared from the GMAIL shortcut. Thanks!

Just started happening to me; I'd done the recent security update on the S8+ I picked up Saturday. Have not done it for my wife and she does not have the problem. ALSO, the GMAIL shortcut no longer shows UNREAD count. Thanks Samsung!

In our case VZW replaced the phone by overnight and the replacement seems fine so far. Only problem is I can't recreate the Contacts widget (the one that opened PHONE into the Directory).

Let me try again. Verizon sells accessories for the Droid Turbo 2. They include a matching case under the Verizon name, and a QI desktop charger base, also under the Verizon name. I love these cases by Verizon; snug, great kickstand built in. But I found that the T2 in its Verizon case and...

I discovered that the Droid Turbo 2 will NOT charge in the Verizon QI desktop charger that Verizon sold for the original Turbo and now the Turbo 2 if you have it in a case. Unless you put it upside down or on its side. The coils in the charger just don't match up properly to the newer charger...

That Ampere app is nice; tells me quickly and easily what the phone, for whatever reason, no longer does - that I am or am not hooked up to a turbo charger. Thanks!

Re: Dropping data when on a call That doesn't make any sense. A huge point of 4g was to have voice and data at the same time. How could Moto release a high end phone without this working?

What a waste. Big use for today's phones is navigation; kind of hard to do without a viable dock. What is Moto thinking?

What car dock? Last I checked, Moto still had not released a car dock for Turbo, leaving you to have to pick some big, clunky generic car dock that probably blocks controls. Biggest thing stopping me from upgrading from my Droid Razr Maxx is the lack of a car dock.
