turbo charger not working?

PSA for Droid Turbo 2 owners, as of 7/27/2016 and whatever software version is out it seems to be a software problem. I fixed this by wiping the cache partition. You can look up a video, it's kind of hard to explain but essentially it wipes ALL temporary data.
 
That Ampere app is nice; tells me quickly and easily what the phone, for whatever reason, no longer does - that I am or am not hooked up to a turbo charger. Thanks!
 
I discovered that the Droid Turbo 2 will NOT charge in the Verizon QI desktop charger that Verizon sold for the original Turbo and now the Turbo 2 if you have it in a case. Unless you put it upside down or on its side. The coils in the charger just don't match up properly to the newer charger. This is also true for a qi car dock we use; I've asked that vendor to modify their dock. But Verizon has apparently known this since the Turbo 2 was released and people started complaining, yet they keep selling it on the same page they sell their Verizon case that it won';t charge in with that dock.
 
Sorry, not true. I don't use...well, it depends on your case! I use the Qi exclusively, trying to save my USB port. I have mine in an Incipio thin case WITH a business card holder and 3 biz cards as well on the back. Now, my wife's Otterbox, no way.
 
Let me try again. Verizon sells accessories for the Droid Turbo 2. They include a matching case under the Verizon name, and a QI desktop charger base, also under the Verizon name. I love these cases by Verizon; snug, great kickstand built in. But I found that the T2 in its Verizon case and standing upright in that QI base will NOT charge, even while the original T in its Verizon case will charge. MANY customers have complained about this, but Verizon still offers that QI base as an accessory for the T2.
 
My cable is loose and I know it's the port on the phone. Won't even charge at all now with any cable.

Unacceptable for this to break in three months. It's not had any strain and only the included charger has been used.

How did you fix this issue? I've had my Moto X Pure Edition less than a year and I'm where you were. I've only used approved chargers for my phone. I had my first turbocharger stop working after 2months and ordered another via Amazon as per the specs on back of original charger. 2nd turbocharger stopped working after 5 months. They don't simply stop...it begins to where I have to wiggle them or prop the charger up on something while plugged into the port.

Now only one charger will fit in the port tight enough to charge and over night, I only got to 65 percent. How did you fix yours? I bought my phone from Amazon as an unlocked phone so I don't have the option of a warranty.
 
Why am I unsurprised? The thing's been unstable after that last update they FORCED off onto us. (I had it not give me a choice and f*cking re-boot and push those updates...)

I'm sorry...first chance I get and the phone goes bye-bye and I'll just get a frigging Nexus 6p that I can nuke-n-pave to CM or PureNexus.

Unfortunately a very long call to Motorola resulted in them sending her a new charger. At the time her phone was only a few months old
 
In our case VZW replaced the phone by overnight and the replacement seems fine so far. Only problem is I can't recreate the Contacts widget (the one that opened PHONE into the Directory).
