On the top and bottom edges of my Galaxy S8 plus, there are small white plastic lines. 2 , on top and 2 on bottom. What are they? Are they bumpers?

Those of us that don't use Bluetooth dont want to have to keep that battery draining function on just to be able to use the smartlock feature.

Same. I'm absolutely SHOCKED when i'm at home and my phone stays unlocked using this feature. It VERY RARELY works, even though i have THREE "trusted places" set... my home address, plus a geofence that is centered on my home, and another geofence a few meters different. It needs attention...

It STILL does not work for more than a day maybe, if you are lucky. It simply does not keep your phone unlocked like it's supposed to, even with GPS turned on.

I did find a solution that works.. it said to go in and change/edit the geofence location ever so slightly, which i find myself doing DAILY. That often is RIDICULOUS and more trouble than just unlocking my phone here at home. If they aren't going to bother fixing "Trusted Places" it should...

Try using a second phone to take a photo of the first phones screen, then send that, because photos seem to go thru perfectly, even when much larger file size than screenshots.

Despite the answers I've read here, the problem has nothing to do with file size. I have this same problem, it appeared suddenly after years of texting screenshots with no problem. After reading this thread, I went and compared the file size of photos that went thru perfectly with the file...

If you tap the very edge of the bottom left of the clock/weather widget, it will bring up the quick info screen just as you describe. Name of widget is "3d digital weather clock"

Go to settings, then display, then click on "daydream" and either turn it off completely by using the slider, or choose some pics, or even change the setting from pictures to "colors". Hope this helps. I was having same problem but found it an easy fix. I think it's a new feature Google suddenly...
