Try to resist the desire to get one - you admit you don't actually need it, it's a bit like kitchen gadgets, you use them a couple of times then they gather dust in the cupboard.

I'm using minimalistic text widget - I used their picture as well. All I have is the photo, the date and time (in a customisable cool format and one group of icons in the bottom right for my favourites.) Have a look at the picture in the play store - a pc mouse in a glass of water.

Do you have to say gmail? What happens when you say e-mail? I personally never use the speak option.

I got mine primarily to surf on - my pc is old and very very slow, my tablet takes about a minute to start up if that. and does what I need to do, I didn't really need a replacement pc that takes up a lot of room.

Re: You can never impress or please others with your phone? I don't hate - I just prefer Android, the I-phone has boring samey icons, whereas Android has all sorts of different icons that just make it look more interesting. The phones do the same thing with no major advantage over the other...
