Two days ago I flashed the full 4.3 image and wiped all volumes in the process. Less than 48 hrs later, my wallpaper reset itself. I wonder if it is a bug in 4.3 or perhaps a rogue app with permissions to change wallpaper. Most of my apps are also on my tablet which is working great... And...

My google branded galaxy nexus just started resetting the wallpaper a couple days ago.

I had connection issues at first and tried playing around with settings but nothing worked. Then I listed to Roy from "The IT Crowd" and tried turning the router off and back on again. Guess what, it worked. I have had no connection issues since either.

Did a box arrive from best buy? They shipped my chromecast in a padded envelope. I wonder if the shipping label was just placed on the wrong item or intentionally moved...

Mine is plugged into the USB port of the TV so it does shut down with the TV. The main problem with that is someone could power off while the firmware is updating.

There are several partitions on the card so no you can not just copy the files. If you use linux or mac then you can use dd to create an image of the card and then dd the image to the new card.

If you run CM7 you can. Under Settings->CM7 Settings->Tablet Tweaks

Find a linux computer (or simply boot the ubuntu livecd or install it under virtualbox), then launch gparted (might need to install it first depending on the distro), insert your microSD into the computer and extend the last partition, unmount card, insert card into nook.

Window does not support multiple partitions on SD cards. If you want to access them from a computer, use Linux or Mac. If you want to access from windows, the easiest solution is to install Ubuntu or Fedora within a virtual machine (ie vmware or virtualbox).

I know fedora 7 or so had a bug that prevented removable drives from getting unmounted cleanly if you used the GUI to unmount. When I used it, I would have to use the command line to unmount. It has been a while since I have used fedora so I do not know if the bug still exits, but I would hope...
