I’m having issues with my videos once transferred to my computer and I’m thinking it might be because of my SD card. I know I can change where my camera stores the files but is it possible to store the photos to the sd but not the videos? Galaxy S7

I accidentally erased my entire phone (Galaxy S7)…I was trying to clear the cache. Anyway, is there any way to restore the text messages? I don’t typically back them up the google. Any software? Suggetions?

It doesn't. It's only when it goes to the sd card. Does that mean the SD card is BAD though?

I've tried via usb cable and selecting "file transfer" from the drop down usb charging options and then just copied from that folder and pasted where I needed. I've also tried removing my sd card and used a microsd adapter and put it directly in my pc and move the files as needed. The problem...
