I'll second this motion! If you compare the YouTube app on 2012 nexus it allowed the option to play in "HQ" now if check it says "HD"

There are some apps that make tablet specific apps such as Amazon while others like Facebook don't. One thing to look for us an HD version which is considered tablet optimized in cases.

I was installing my apps and came across HBO GO when it informs me its not compatible for my device. Really? There has to be an update out soon to fix this.

Samsung has confirmed that S3 S4 and the Notes will get updates through at least 5.0. The rumor is they skip 4.2.2, although I'm sure carriers might have their input.
