What is a good Bluetooth keyboard I can use for my new nexus 7? I like to write and edit some school papers on my nexus and 1000 word papers are difficult to write with the on screen keyboard, heh. I'd like it to be the board alone if possible because I plan on buying the Asus premium case.

Thank you for any ideas.

I've had this Motorola BT keyboard for years. It worked ok with the Xoom but had many issues with sticking keys and connection issues with BT mice. With this N7 though it has been a solid performer. Zero lag, no sticking keys, I haven't tried it with a BT mouse.

So I turned on the BT mouse a microsoft M5000, notorious for interfering with the keyboard and things seems to be better. The mouse is lagging a little but the keyboard remains solid. As usual it will take testing and will probably be device dependent. The devices I am using are getting a little old, but the Motorola Keyboard works great and I recomend it, especially since its an older product you should be able to get for cheaper!

I have an older model Logitech BT keyboard, will test when my Nexus 7 v2 arrives and report back. Hoping it works OK though.

The Bluetooth keyboard that I have ( a Logitech tablet keyboard) does not work well on my Nexus 7. It will pair with it, but keypress had about a ten seconds lag from when I hit the key. It then proceeded to spam my input with a bunch of letters that I wasn't pressing. Then it completely stopped working. Hopefully they can fix it soon, because I really enjoyed having a physical keyboard sometimes.

I have the Microsoft Wedge keyboard and the Microsoft Wedge mouse. They work flawlessly.

Thanks. I have had the same experience. I like the keyboard I have and I don't want to buy another one. I hope this gets fixed. I don't use a physical keyboard often, but they come in handy from time to time.

I have the Logitech K810 BT keyboard. It worked good with the orig N7. I'll try it with the N7 FHD tonight.
I like it because it's backlit with a proximity sensor to save the battery. The bat is rechargeable and lasts a long time.
The best thing about it is you can pair it with up to 3 devices and change the device it controls with the press of one button.

I just tried my keyboard, the Logitech Tablet Keyboard for Android 3.0+ (older model #920-003390) and it works fine, but after turning Bluetooth off on the Nexus 7, then on again, I could not get the keyboard to connect, though it was listed.

I had to unpair, then re-pair it in order to get it working again. That didn't seem quite right, but I have only owned the keyboard a couple weeks and don't use that often. Might just be user error on my part.

Other than that, worked good once reconnected.

I've used this on multiple tablets and phones, I don't however have a Nexus 7 2013 to try it on.

I have this same problem with my Logitech keyboard, I am considering contacting them to see what they would say. Interested to see what you find out if you do.
