I used to burn through 5-6GB a month on an unlimited T-Mobile plan with a 16GB Nexus 4. With a 64GB Nexus 6, I've currently downloaded about 15GB of Google Play Playlists... I seem to be using 3-500MB of data on Fi per month.

What's not compatible? Is there a Nexus 6 with a different physical radio? If it's the same hardware, could you not just unlocked the boot loader, flash the Fi ROM, and re-lock the boot loader to essentially have the exact same phone that's sold through Fi?

I do not have the GV app on my phone. My Project FI number is used with the stand Phone app and Messenger to text. Hangouts handles phone calls and text for my GV number. To ensure this works, logon to your google.com/voice page and make sure that forwarding is set to Google Chat.

It dropped much faster than the expected time. Mine dropped from 4-8 weeks to 1-2 weeks in just over a week. Four days after hitting 1-2 weeks, I got an invite.

I'm assuming your handle is further confirmation that it's not only by area. A co-worker who entered a Plano zip code received an invite 2 weeks ago. My Lewisville zip code invite shows 1-2 weeks.

This might be worth rechecking. A week ago, my expected time frame was 4-8 weeks. Today it shows 1-2 weeks.
