Ahahaha. I reinstalled my Windows in similar case, after 3 years of usage with perfect working, only due to small disconnections on PC only (Ethernet)... to my surprise I had to reinstall and refix all the 3 years of adjustment and the issue still wasn't fixed. I suspect the same here...

As of now, in Android after 2.3.1, I have no idea what's happening and what to turn on or shut down. Phones eat battery like no tomorrow.
