Google services eating battery. Anyone else?

One thing I noticed is that when I take my sim out and use it in another phone, then battery lasts forever. I'm not sure if that makes any sense.

Haha. Yeah, the mobile radios use alot of battery. If you turn off wifi and LTE, your battery will last a week.

Makes sense. As 18T said -- mobile radios are one of the biggest drains on battery.

Lol, so pretty much turn my pixel into an iPod touch. Who needs LTE and wifi anyway right? Lol.

Noticed that after the most recent update, battery performance is not as stellar. Still lasts me a day, but just so.

As of now, in Android after 2.3.1, I have no idea what's happening and what to turn on or shut down.

Phones eat battery like no tomorrow.
