Qualcomm confirmed that only SD821 will be compatible with Daydream view, but recently the Moto z(which has SD820) got upgraded to 7.0 nougat, and alongside that update, it's now compatible with the Daydream view VR, so.... Is there a chance the G5 will be compatible with Daydream anytime soon ?

Difentely the G5 cuz its hell faster, have a much powerful SoC, better camera, better display, and better camera

Mine came with a screen protector out of the box i peeled it off and i got a glass screen protector for the whole screen from bottom to the earpiece, its not working that great-sometimes i need to press hard and the this protector is preventing the sensor from wroking properly

I bought the G5 nearly 4 months ago, And the build quality is great, my unit has no issues what so ever regarding the build, and I am more than pleased with it, don't listen to those who claim that it feels like plastic, i can garuntee, that it provides the same feeling as other metal phones...

The display is so bright, i mean very bright in auto mode

Perform a backup with LG bridge and reset your device you will lose nothing even the homescreen layout. I hope your issue get fixed ASAP
