Sounds like a faulty SD card. SD card life span isn't very long for older ones, so just move the wallpaper to internal storage and see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't just say so because I have another fix for you.

Using the SD card as internal storage is a good idea but can cause problems. The thing is that when you formated into internal, it told you that anything put onto the SD card can only be read by the system or something like that so really your only option is to put what you can on the internal...

That's an AT&T only phone, sorry. That phone is pretty old also, I would consider buying a phone from tracphone themselves if you want tracphone service.

Heres a few things I can think of. First clear the data and cache for play store. If that doesn't help then a factory reset might help, although that's not something you probably want to do. Try contacting Google by looking up their phone number. That's all I can think of hope this helps

As far as changing the layout of the lock screen there are two options: you can root your device and use an xsposed module, or turn off system lock screen and download an app from Google play. Hope this helps!
