I'm on ATT and ever since I got the Android 12 update when I get a text message and I pull down the notification it shows a "quick reply" that google thinks I want to send. I know this was there before but I could turn it off, I don't see where I can turn off that feature. Does anyone know how...

Yes, we can call each other. She gets my text but I don't get hers. Very odd.

I am using the Samsung messaging app and I tried Google messages. I turned off Advanced Messaging to see if that worked and it didn't.

I currently have an S21 and a Pixel 5. I have a friend that has a Pixel 4 and when she texts me they do not show up on my S21. When I move the sim to my Pixel 5, all her text come in. Has anyone else experienced not receiving text messages. I am using the Samsung messaging app.

I agree. I had the 4xl and really liked that. I now have the s21 and the pixel 5. The s21 handles text message notifications so much better. That's been my daily driver, which is sad because I really like the Pixel phones.

I had a Pixel 4xl and I thought when I received a notification the screen would wake up, like when you touch to wake the screen. The screen would get bright. With the Pixel 5, when I get a notification, the screen does show the notification but the screen doesn't light up, so it's hard to see...

I have the details notification selected but when I have the screen on and I get a Gmail, I just get the notification icon at the top of the screen, it doesn't display the details of the email. Meaning it doesn't flash the email details notification when an email comes in. It works with a text...

I think you have to reset up your pin. When you set up your pin it's on the first time you are putting in your pin. Check at the bottom where it says enter without OK.

I agree. I am color blind and have a hard time seeing red. It is very hard for me to see the red icons for Gmail. It's amazing to me that the engineers don't think of these things when they are designing the phone and software. I will have to try the lock star with good lock.

I agree, not sure why they took that away with the upgrade to One UI 3.0. There is an app I downloaded from the Galaxy store that seemed to help but I ended up installing it. If after I uninstalled it, my screen still lights up when I get a text message using the details notification.

If you set it Brief under Notification pop-up style it will wake the screen up. Not sure why they took the wake up screen function under the Details style. You can mess around with Bixby Routines and see if you can do something under there.
