    Best weather radar on androud

I also highly recommend sticking with Radarscope - the subscription is well worth it especially if you are in areas plagued with severe weather. My two other go-to apps are Dark Sky - they call it "hyperlocal" and it is amazingly good at telling me things like "drizzle starting soon" or "rain...

Why Are Texts Going To Email Account Also?

Are you using Live/Hotmail by any chance? If so, go into Mail and look at the options for the MS server - you'll see the last checkbox relates to this. Uncheck it and you will be golden. If you're not using MS or any form of Exchange server - please ignore this :)

how to establish Samsung Health heart zones

This was a dealbreaker for me as well - if you are into HRT, best to invest in a Garmin. The Garmin ecosystem lets you not only set individual heart rate zones, but power zones for running and cycling, FTP, etc - great stuff!

Issues: Messaging App Badge, Weather App Not Updating, Play Store Apps Pending

It's a bug with the latest Google App update. It was broken, then fixed, and apparently broken again. In the meantime, disable your Google app and everything will work again (except for Google of course)

T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Moisture Detected In your Charging Port (S8+)

The phone does have a level of water resistance, and if there is moisture in the USB port, the message is valid and helps to protect the phone. The problem some of us are seeing is that the message appears randomly - even when the device has been nowhere near water - and prevents wired...

T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Moisture Detected In your Charging Port (S8+)

I finally got this sorted - but I am still really not sure what the root cause was. As a reminder, I started getting this error message on my S8+. and after taking a firmware update, my tablet started doing the same thing (Tab S3 WiFi). I thought that this might be a strong indicator that the...

T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Moisture Detected In your Charging Port (S8+)

Just wondering - has anyone who has encountered this tried a factory reset? Before I try that I would like to see if it would be a waste of time. If not, I can be the guinea pig

I definitely will and please do the same if you hear anything. I can wireless charge but I really miss my Android Auto :)

T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Moisture Detected In your Charging Port (S8+)

Hi Abbey :) This is just me at this point, but since I started getting the exact same error message on my Tab S3 immediately after applying an OTA update - I have to think this is not a hardware issue. Why would it hit two different devices and the timing is suspect. Seriously, as soon as the...

T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Moisture Detected In your Charging Port (S8+)

Yup, quite a few folks are seeing this - myself included. Seems that the Samsung method is to send the phone in to service. Thought this was firmware/software related - and this was confirmed a couple of nights ago. I also have a WiFi Tab S3 that took a system update - right after that, the...

    Miss my iPhone

It sounds like you got this phone on an installment (NEXT) plan. IIRC there are two flavors - regular NEXT that is 24 months of payments and one that is 18 months (NEXT every year). Regardless, you can return to upgrade eligibility at any time after paying 1/2 of the phone off. Sounds like...

Google Play store not installing apps

This was a widespread problem impacting many devices. Turned out to be an issue with the most recent Google app update. Good news is that as of this afternoon (7/13) - an update to the Google app hit the app store. Install that and you will be golden.

moved over from iOS to Samsung s8 - how to keep my images auto-synced as in iOS sync?

You can also install Microsoft OneDrive - if you use a windows box, it will keep your photos synced in the cloud. As I recall, there is also a similar service from Amazon
