do you guys notice significant battery drain when there is no reception or is it just me?

I can't read the drive also! Won't sync either..

Can't get my HTC sync to detect my phone! Downloaded it from the Verizon website, installed it, but it won't detect my phone. All my antivirus software is disabled. Yes, it is in debugging mode already. Also tried the method where I connect my phone as a disk drive to copy HTC Sync from there...
