HTC Sync

Can't get my HTC sync to detect my phone! Downloaded it from the Verizon website, installed it, but it won't detect my phone. All my antivirus software is disabled. Yes, it is in debugging mode already.

Also tried the method where I connect my phone as a disk drive to copy HTC Sync from there, but I can never get into the drive from my computer. It just loads forever. So maybe this is a problem too.

Any insight would help! Just got this phone yesterday and it is already super frustrating.

I got it to install, but it won't open on my computer. It says it is missing a file and needs to be re-installed. I re-installed it like 3 times. I know I'm not that inept, so I am assuming that something is wrong with the file...

I had the same problem. I downloaded HTC Sync from the HTC website and installed it. HTC sync would not recognize my phone was connected until after I Rebooted my phone. Now everything works fine.
