I can't help you with where the phone stores texts, but the least you can do is copy everything on to a computer or portable drive until someone who knows or a thorough Google search can tell you, then transfer the right folder over from there. Posted via Android Central App

If this year's releases are anything like last's, then the Droid(s) will be based on Moto X+1 hardware and most of the software. So, different cases, screens, and maybe batteries. I've seen unsubstantiated rumors that the new X might pack a Maxx-class battery, but no one knows for sure yet...

Are you using a third party text message app like Contacts+ or Messages+, which can show texts in a window? If so you may need to adjust the settings. I'm pretty sure the stock Messaging app doesn't do that. Posted via Android Central App and Droid Mini

Yeah, I have terrible battery life even with Snapdragon Battery Guru running, but I've never had a long-lasting battery on any smartphone I've had, including HTC's EVO Shift and LTE, so maybe it's just me. Posted via Android Central App and Droid Mini

I'm a heavy user on mine, and it gets pretty lousy battery life. I'd say 5 to 7 hours of use before the battery gets to the red zone (15-20%). Maybe reinstalling isn't such a bad idea after all. Posted via Android Central App and Droid Mini
