Droid Mini Battery Life

Looking for some help on understanding the battery life of my Mini. Most of the time I get about two days of life out of my Mini. I do this by charging it at about 20% and bringing it to the max so that I can use the time tracker on the battery saver. However twice now I have let the phone discharge until it shuts itself off and then I get 4 days. I have owned it since the 16Dec2013 and use it minimally. The first time I let go down to zero was about a week after I bought it and the second time was about two weeks ago. I don't remember how fast the time between recharges declined the first time but this time it is happening very fast. I don't see this as a battery issue, but as a software issue. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

My wife's has always had limited battery tome. Full charge in morning....limited use...by mid afternoon she is back on the charger. Yesterday had less than 5 hours before needing a charge. After 95 minutes on phone with Verizon they are sending replacement.

When I first got my Droid Mini, the battery life was terrible. I was on the verge of returning it within the 14 day window. Then I thought, well, I'll do a factory reset as a last resort and see if that helps. I know, doing a reset is a pain and time consuming, but I am so glad I did it. Battery life is MUCH better and I kept the phone.

I get about 2 and a half days usage from my mini. But, I'm not a heavy user. I find that if I let it charge an hour longer than it reaches 100% I get much better battery life.

I'm a heavy user on mine, and it gets pretty lousy battery life. I'd say 5 to 7 hours of use before the battery gets to the red zone (15-20%). Maybe reinstalling isn't such a bad idea after all.

RexMaximus....you are getting 5-7 hours ? ! I just got the phone a few days ago and I don't think I am getting that...but I am still testing that out ! I really wish some one would develop a battery pack for the droid mini !!

Yeah, I have terrible battery life even with Snapdragon Battery Guru running, but I've never had a long-lasting battery on any smartphone I've had, including HTC's EVO Shift and LTE, so maybe it's just me.

My Droid Mini over the last week or so has been draining very fast. I have done 2 factory resets just to see if it was an app, I can't confirm any apps draining at this rate. Puzzling to say the least. Very Frustrated.

My Droid Mini's battery life hasn't been great. Usually get 2-full days, maybe 3-days if I'm lucky. That's with GPS off, Bluetooth off, mobile data off (only turn it on when I'm using it), and Wifi set to turn off when phone sleeps.

Yesterday, I thought I'd try the Bluetooth pairing feature with my car stereo.

Well, with Bluetooth turned on, my phone didn't even last through the night. I took it off the charger at 4:30pm, and it was completely dead by the next morning. No idea when it actually died.
I hope there is an update to fix this at some point. Or maybe I just have to give in and buy a giant phone like everybody else, or an iPhone, but I hate giant phones and iPhones.

Factory resetting may not do anything for the battery life. If you have on the active notifications or whatever that may be eating your battery rather fast due to the screen being LCD instead of amoled like in the MAXX/Ultra.

...but I was getting 12 to 15 hours before plugging in with about 30% left before this all started to occur.

Not sure this is relevant, but in the same time frame my droid Maxx battery life tanked. It's been somewhat better the past few days, fwiw.
