I also wish to remove this "icon". It is UNNECESSARY since I can go to settings when I want to get to the Apps. It is a waste of space on my screen and is also too tempting for my little one when the phone is in her hands! How do I remove this ICON. It does not respond like other ICONS.

I used the Samsung app which DOES NOT SYNC. Hello! Why?? It looks like the Google Calendar app - I assume to drive us all mad! My calendar app was green and white (like green with envy) The google calendar app is blue and white. It works great syncing both directions. The Samsung calendar app...
