On a semi-related note: Skype will drain the battery in ~30 minutes and the phone gets really hot in that amount of time... *glares at Microsoft*

The original one I had was overheating without a case and the replacement runs cool even with a case on The first unit I had started overheating right away after purchase, no issues with the replacement.

Update: Replaced the phone and the difference is night and day. It is no longer running warm in my pocket at all hours when doing nothing and behaves as expected. Not sure if that helps with your original issue SwiftMCPro but it might give some insight.

That is good to hear and hopefully the new unit will behave like yours. It was extra disappointing because the phone blew my mind for the 2 days it was working. Crazy upgrade from my HTC Inspire 4G.
