@rckymtntim- are you using a tampered glass protector which covers the proximity sensor left of the top speaker ?

I just bought a LG G4 H815 and using marshmellow. It seems my phone does not wake up while locked in any way while i am in a dark room or low light room. I have tried everything and it seems it only wakes up when I plug in the charger and then i can put in the pattern to unlock the phone...

I think you are using marshmellow and if so try waking up the phone in a place where there is bright light. I have the same problem i think. Mine wont wake up in a dark/low lit room. Let me know if your issue is fixed if decide to remove the glass protector.
