I think the experience definitely varies, likely based upon the apps that are installed. I tried enabling art on the 12B release and had to switch back in less than an hour due to app issues. That said, I'm now on a custom lollipop ROM and having no issues. Posted via the Android Central App

The G3 has a feature where it can check to see it you are looking at the screen before implementing the screen dim function. Basically, when that icon appears, your phone is looking at you with the front camera to see if it can find a pair of eyes. Posted via the Android Central App

On the subject of the camera app, now that the G3 has some official lollipop builds available I'm wondering if it would be possible to extract the camera app for use on custom ROM's? Posted via the Android Central App

Re: Emergency Calling Help I'm wondering if installing an app like 'Key Plus for LG' would help you out here? It allows you to assign other options to the hardware keys when the device is locked. It's a free app so won't cost anything to see. Posted via the Android Central App
