AFAIK, S-Voice was developed for Samsung by Vlingo (same company, apparently, that developed Siri). Vlingo was acquired by Nuance (which also acquired Dragon earlier). This is why the Vlingo Android app looks so similar to Siri, and why you observed that S-Voice was using Vlingo for some...
