I did it. I fixed it. Turns out the screen didn't come with some pieces and after placing them in and calibrating the sensor it now works perfect.

I decided to make a new thread after what i learned. I figured my issues (black screen always during call, not powering on unless plugged in a charger or battery in and out) were issues of the proximity sensor. I found an app and tested the closest distance and it as 0.0cm. Which I assume means...

So research has led me to finding out this is a common issue with 6 and is a problem with the proximity sensor. That explains the phone call issue. I tried to access the secret menu to calibrate the sensor but evrytime I call it it says it's invalid. What do i do now?

No. I don't believe I do. Also sometimes the screen will go off and won't go back on until I plug it in or take out and replace the battery. And sometimes double tap doesn't quite work. I think I may have really messed things up.

Sorry about a double post, but I need help. I got the new phone, but the old one still won't fully boot up, and I don't have any contacts. Is it even possible to transfer contacts from one phone that doesn't work to one that does.

I'm on AT&T and had no issue. The guy even has seen it a lot recently.

Re: LG G4 won't turn back on Trust me it isn't the battery. I have two. And I haven't contacted them yet because all levels they will do is wipe the phone and fix it after two weeks. And I need my phone for a trip in early Jan.
